'How To' Plot Files

Sending .PLT Files to "ACE BLUEPRINT" for Plotting

1. When you are ready to plot a drawing in AutoCAD. Go to file>plot.
2. Plot dialog box will pop up.
3. Make sure you have down loaded KIP 8000 Printer/Plotter drivers (click links below to start download).
   • AutoCAD 2004/2005/2006 Driver v. 2.44
   • AutoCAD 2000i / 2002 Driver v. 2.44
   • AutoCAD 2000 v. 2.44
   • AutoCAD 14 v. 109.03
   • Windows Printer Driver
4. Pick plot settings tab and select paper size. Important ( make sure you pick the length first. Ex. Arch 36" X 24". Bill will not have to rotate the project for his plotter).
5. Set scale and plot area.
   
6. Pick Plot device tab and pick plot to file. Under file name put the page # first in front of the file name. (EX. 1testdwg-Model.plt for the 1 st drawing). This way Bill will plot them in order and not have to organize them after.
   
7. After creating all .plt files. Go to the project folder and create a new folder with the name of project and the date. Move all .plt file into the new folder and create a zip file.
8. Connect to the internet and go to Ace Blueprint web site www.aceblueprint.com.
9. Click onto the FTP site tab and fill out the form information to send your file to us.
